Our mind is a store house of memories and linked emotions. It is our mind that controls our body. In fact it wouldn't be wrong if I say that body is a slave of mind. You know that each cell has a membrane which is the mind of each cell itself. Imagine trillion of cells with trillion of minds controlled by your master mind (Brain). You have been experiencing many events since you are born and your mind is continuously storing several beliefs and emotions.
The excess weight on each part of the body signifies some stored emotions which need to be worked on. Along with that the need of putting some extra kilos is to be explored. We need to see why your mind and body is comfortable with these extra kilos? There can be several reasons to gain weight. Lets try to understand with an example.
A working woman was pregnant with her first child. She was very busy and was not able to take proper meals on time. Now the child inside felt hunger and believed that there is no food available for me. As the child grew up she use to eat a lot and everyone was surprised that why you eat so much? She was putting on weight but couldn't manage her eating habits. Through Hypnotherapy , we found that eating more was a benefit for the mind which was perceived in the womb. Once we broke the old belief and replaced it with new belief that food is available outside and as an adult she is safe. Within a week her need to eat so much food came down which lead her to a healthy lifestyle.
